Glam metal..the genre almost dead..
Glam metal or hair metal..is the most underrated forms of music..It originated in the late 1970's in the United States but experienced mainstream success in the late 1980's and early 90's..Bands like Motley Crue,Skid Row, Aerosmith, Poison,Def Leppard and Twisted Sisters were known as the pioneers of hair metal..Their songs included many awesome ballads with soul touching guitar solos and vocalists with vocal ranges touching the sky..Hair metal started fading with the rise of other forms of rock like Alternative rock..Though many of these alternative rock bands disbanded in a very short period, they struck a very big impact over hair metal..as it was almost dead by then..Still some bands like H.E.A.T , Cinderalla, Crashdiet are trying their best to keep it alive..
